Tourist Time

While in Nashville, we of course had to take in a few sites. After the wedding, one of Mark's friends drove us around Franklin (very close to Nashville), which is a very wealthy city with a small town feel. A number of famous people live there, such as Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, the Judds, Toby Mac, etc. Mark's friends who live there talk about famous locals so casually. I, however, would have been esctatic to spot a country or Christian music artist, but alas, it did not happen. We also checked out the Grand Ole Opry House and Museum.
Spring had sprung in Nashville and it was beautiful!

A Wedding in Nashville

Last weekend we were in Nashville, TN. Chad's long time friend Mark Munden got married there and Chad was a groomsman.

During our stay, we experienced some genuine southern hospitality. We stayed with a couple from Mark's church who had an absolutely beautiful home. This was the view from the front door of their home. Everything was so green and lush, a welcome escape from city living!
