Richfield Days

This weekend we visited a small town (called Richfield) south of us (enough south that it's kind of in the country) that was having "Richfield Days". Every June during this event, they have a town-wide garage sale. One of my co-workers told me about it and says she loves to go every year, so we thought we'd try it out. We found the town to be charming and felt like we were at home in the country! The picture below is their library.

You don't see this in the city very often! Here Chad is showing off all of his loot from garage sales. The plant is the only thing that is mine. Chad made out with a box full of golf balls, some books, and one of his favorite movies. Also, not pictured here are a couple of other treasures we bought... Bob the tomato plant and a bell pepper plant that were already transplanted to our "garden" (see below) on our balcony.

What a cute little town! And I'm jealous that you went garage saling! That is not an option with my children currently!
